Not on par - Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Reviews

Lucas, we expected more. Not more effects. There are plenty of those to spare. But what about a better story, fully fleshed-out characters, a little bit of heart? The first trilogy deserves a better opening act than this one.
